Thanks so much! My head-cannon for the Anderson family is that they care too much about first impressions, reputation, and impressing people. They want to be the perfect family. I also imagine Cooper to be on Blaine’s side, if you will. Whenever his parents passively disapprove of something with Blaine, Cooper would say that they were wrong and Blaine was great, etc.

A lot of people see Mr. Anderson as violent (based on a lot of fanfics) but I imagine him as just beging…indifferent to Blaine. Not cruel or overly mean, just acting as if Blaine isn’t good enough for him. My very elaborate head-cannon also has Mr. Anderson often showing great pride in Cooper, but not so much Blaine. Like favoring his eldest.

Maybe his mom would be even more obsessed with impressing others, and would be more upfront about letting Blaine know. In my picture, you may notice that Blaine isn’t wearing the traditional dark suit and tie like his brother and father. I feel like on the day that the picture was taken, his mother and he might’ve had a little tiff about Blaine being overly flashy when he was really just expressing himself.

I know that was long and ridiculous! The Anderson family just intrigues me so much and I am so excited to see how they are on the actual show!!
