Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, only with what you are expecting to give. Which is everything.
in which kurt is a cheerio and has a crush on blaine
Kurt smirked, rolling his eyes at Quinn as they walked through the halls.
“Oh, man,” Santana snickered. “Check out Poindexter McGlee.”
Kurt’s heart picked up as Blaine Anderson rounded the corner, smoothing his gel-shellacked hair down and straightening his bow tie. Blaine glanced up and sent Kurt a blinding smile.
Kurt did his best to beat down his blush as he sneered with the other three cheerleaders.
“What a geek,” Brittany laughed. “I hate the way he looks.”
“Who doesn’t?” Santana snorted, patting Brittany’s arm.
“Oh! I forgot my chemistry text book,” Kurt said hurriedly. “I’ll be right at practice, one moment…”
He didn’t go back to his locker. He opened the door to the choir room and hastily closed it, leaning against and trying to get his heart to calm down.
“Kurt?”
His eyes snapped open.
Blaine Anderson was sitting in one of the chairs, staring at him in confusion.
Kurt floundered. “Blaine! I mean—uh…Anderson. What are you doing here?”
Blaine blinked. “Um…this is the choir room. Glee practice is in twenty minutes. What are you doing here?”
“I…” Calming my heart down because your smile nearly made me faint. “None of your business!”
Blaine shrugged. “Okay.” He opened his bag and pulled out a notebook, flipping through it. He glanced back up at Kurt. “So…are you just going to stand there?”
Kurt flushed. “No. I was just leaving.”
And he wrenched the door open and slammed it, hurrying to Cheerios practice.
Thanks to Blandersons for the prompt/idea/INSPIRATION! I love Blaine’s little head of poofiness. :)
